How does a Fashion Week show get any better than this? John Varvatos pulls the rabbit out of the hat. A free music show which started off with the extraordinary guitar virtuosity of Gary Clark Jr. and his band, followed by the headliner The Roots who pulled off a highly energised and incredible music performance. There was an unlimited supply of assorted vodka drinks, beer, or water- all free btw.

Yes there were the high end fashionista’s, the beautiful people, a cross-section of local music legends like Handsome Dick Manitoba frontman of the Punk band the Dictators and his lovely wife Zoe Hansen, Jesse Malin front man of St. Marks Social Club, but in the end the night was about the music, a good feeling vibe, and an acceptance and appreciation for all came through the door.
