occupy wall street- & march to Post office- and police provocateur

Posted in News on October 1, 2011 by Clayton Patterson

The cops stopped the march, although was peaceful and on the sidewalk and following all the rules- from going north when Occupy Wall Street started to march uptown. The cops keep this up but finally the group crossed Canal street and then the cops allowed the march to go forward.  At one stop an individual dressed in civilian clothes, rushed into the crowd and started to physically push one of the marchers- he did not identify himself as a police office.  Only after he could not start a fight and he backed up I could see a piece of ID hanging in front of him- he tried very hard to stop me from  photographing him-

he clearly was in the wrong- he was trying to start a fight- and he never id’ed himself as a cop- then he left the march- other photos are a stalled blocks.

ON Wednesday I got 2 street arrests- one is one Stanton and Essex- 2 guys were being chased- then cops got involved and these two guys were arrested- cops had someone come by in a cop car- ID them then off to the 7th precinct they went. Is believe that they slashed another person on Eldridge and Stanton

The other case was a young kid came running out of a store- with people chasing him- a cop was on the street and gave chase- caught him on Reade Street-
