You introduced me to Maureen Bell (Griffith) at Le Bistro in Montreal in November 1965. Maureen and I were married for almost 42 years until she died of lung cancer in July 2007 in Hamilton, Ontario. We have a son and a daughter who live in Toronto. Since Maureen died I have been going backward in time recollecting our life together. You come up frequently because you introduced us.
Maureen’s work has been exhibited at the Museum of the City of Montreal and The Museum of Civilization in Ottawa/Gatineau. She worked for a toy company for a few years and is notable for designing the Pink Panther’s latest smoking jacket for Warner Bros. toys. When asked what she did she replied that she was a designer to the stars.
